GUESS WHO?

Here are 2 amazing preschoolers....Whitney and Wyatt both age 5

And here we have 2 "My Senses Books"

Can you guess who is who's?

#1. a beautiful flower, the sky, and a kite
#2. an "E", a booger (that is very well drawn if I do say so myself) and Maile, a friend

(We thought the comparison was completely hilarious! Everyone needs a 5 year old around!)

Well...

APRIL, you have definitely fooled us! I sure hope my new tulips make it--or you may be to blame.

A glimpse of Wyatt doing the ever loved Napoleon Dance for entertainment this morning. (Wes and THE blankie behind hopefully keeping a safe distance. That dance can be wild.)

Pine Wood Derby!

It's that time of year again! Walker did a great job and our family had a blast!

This is this years edition. Anti-Aircraft tank. Unfortunately, the wheels did not impress. Last years model was dusted off, doused with graphite and did not disappoint. Walker got 4th place overall and 3rd in his Bear Den. We are proud of him as he was a great sport!

After the festivities we indulged in these little derby cars. They were a fattening, delicious hit!

More Halarious Wyatt

Dad, what is a Deea?
Cause when we order a Case-of-Dea's (Quesadilla), I don't know what a Deea is.

Mom, have you ever seen a Jackalope in real life?
--No, Wy I don't think I have.
Mom, I am DYING to see a Jackalope. One with a great big rack. Maybe we can go to PetCo and see if they have one.

Beating the Ho-Hum of Winter!

The 1st Annual Rotten Apple Toss! Hope nothing illegal was performed.
Mushy apples
1. Are biodegradable.
2. Great for the birds that should be south for the winter.
3. Are so fun to toss into the gully
4. Are so fun to toss into the gully
5. Are fun to re-toss into the gully if they didn't make it over the fence.

If we did anything that is against the law, as my mom always says, it sometimes is easier to ask forgiveness than it is to ask permission!

Wes enjoying the festivities in the warmth of his own house and sogginess of his wet diaper. (Please don't call child protection!)

A DOZEN

Jeff & I have officially been married for 12 years today! It is hard for me to remember life without him. It has been an amazing journey that has flown by.

He mentioned this afternoon that our 12 years is the same amount of time it took to go from 1st to 12th grade. This twelve has hands-down gone 10 times faster. In the meantime one of our children burped and gave my nose a spicy, vile aroma of the lunch he enjoyed as I was getting him dressed for church. This may not have been the #12 anniversary we would have imagined as newlyweds, but nonetheless here we are, this is us.

Glad to be happily married and enjoying this stage of our lives with 4 amazing but busy kids. I will spare you anymore mushy details, but not without mentioning that Jeff is the perfect man for me. Here's to a handful of dozens more!

March 8, 1997 at the IF Temple reminded me of the weather today. It was a perfect but freezing cold, blustery winter day. Although, thankfully we did avoid the 3 inches of fresh snow that is all around us now.
