We think....

that Wyatt needs a Ukulele. We have laughed and laughed over THIS video. It is a crack up.

This cute super-woman shared it on her blog yesterday. She and her blog are pretty great.

Deep Thoughts from Walker's Sunday Journal

Us NOW and Us After Monday

I am not sure what is in Walker's stick figure hand. Something for the pooch to go fetch, or the adoption papers? (Am I the stick person closest to the house with something coming out of my stick hand? The possibilities are endless of items that my stick hand could be filled with.....key to the house to lock everyone out? keys to the car to take the little doogie back to the puppy mill? a lighter to burn the adoption papers? I GUARANTEE it is not a pooper scoooper.) I sound so heartless. I ought to be ashamed of myself.

Round #2

Seriously I am dying....
I truly must be depriving my children. And no... the crying baby in the cradle is NOT an announcement. If so, I would be blogging from a quaint little cell in Blackfoot. (The Mental Hospital to be exact.)

Things That TODAY (that in the words of Wyatt age 5, 2009) "FILLED ME WITH JOY"

1. Happy Pill (duh) AND Diet Caffeinated Soda. I know, I start my day off right.

2. Somewhat Good Night's rest due to the Home Teacher NOT calling me twice in wee hours of the morning. (It happened twice the night before.) In all fairness, it was probably his Buttocks that called me. Each time I answered, no one was on the other line. Seriously, let me sleep MR.

3. Rubbing cold little 3 year old feet. Wes still enjoys snuggling and occasionally acting like the youngest child. The remainder of our days are spent trying to keep up with the rest of the animals AKA siblings.

3. NOT having to work out of the home today. Yep, this Oral Janitor has been sharpening her sickle's and getting back into Dental Hygiene shape. I have been subbing 2-3 days a week for a great Dentist who's Hygienist had hand surgery. I have enjoyed it but it has been totally kicking my trash. I have too much on my plate, but this week marks the downhill slope, only 2 1/2 more weeks.

4. Realizing that today is the hubby's Friday. I also ran across this Gem taken about 4 years ago. I kinda like him.

5. Happy Kindergartner, proud of his Valuable Incredible Kid award for being a great friend to his classmates.
Everyone needs a friend like him. He always leaves us in stitches.

And for the record tooth #K is covered in chocolate and does not have rampant decay. Thanks for the fun glasses Ashton.

6. Finding some of my favorite jewelry that has been lost for 2 years. They vanished off of the face of the earth the day we moved into this house. (Or pretty much hid in a place that I swear I looked for them dozens of times.) Plus I ordered some more from this little site and will be waiting by my mailbox.

7. Five Guys Burgers and Fries. Hold the fries please. That place is de-lish.

8. The fact that my house is still standing after leaving my kids home alone for 20 minutes while delivering a binder to a new Primary Teacher. I returned home to whiffs resembling burning matches. (Hello children I know everything and I have a nose that puts a bloodhound's to shame. It is so skilled that it is almost a handicap.) Jeff who is a recovering Pyromaniac will deal with the budding one tomorrow.

9. Clean kitchen floors and the ability to now SEE my laundry room floor.
(YES, I have caught up on my truck load of laundry--seriously truck load people and Crumbs between my toes, goodbye and good riddens.)

10. This collection box.

My kids crack me up...This collection container was put together tonight 15 minutes before bedtime. Already, I think they have collected about 8 dollars of birthday and allowance money, not to mention raided every nook and cranny that may house any spare change.
A Jack Russel Terrier has been on their brains. Please donate---Do it.
Down side.....It is either me or the dog.

11. Whitney's clean room. (Messy room not pictured...Some day I want her to fall madly in love with some dashing young man and for her and his protection we do not need documentation of such a sight.)

12. Kids in bed at 8:30. A miracle in itself.

13. The 3rd verse of "How Firm a Foundation" Brought to my attention today by a good friend. We are blessed.
