Dearest Whitney,

Thanks for the cute little letter that was found to Dad & I in the mailbox this morning. We can totally take a trip to the "puplikc" library after Walker finishes his piano. How about tomorrow? I am so happy that you are "filling" better. You have been a sick little puppy this winter. Now that it is spring I hope that you will do nothing but skip home from the bus stop with that famous smile of yours. No more sickness for you!:)

And about last night.... Thanks for the special treat you tried (just like Nacho) to shove under my bedroom aka "my quarter" door. I love TOAST! Too bad the little plate wouldn't fit, you however got the toast through nicely. Only a little mutilated. I felt just like beautiful Sister Encarnacion, minus her lovely black flowing hair (mine was greasy and slicked back into a pony tail) and cute little white nighty...(I was still dressed and it wasn't cute.)

You are a great girl. I love you!

P.S. Your penmanship looks amazing!

Love your Mom, JaNae

Walker came off of the school bus unable to control his laughter---he was absolutely hysterical.

Someone pulled a Napoleon Dynamite. Tied a muscly action figure to a long piece of floss and tossed it out the open bus window. SWEET!

I wish I would have been there. Listening to him laugh seriously made my day.

Easter Sunday

Here it is....the "hurry, quick, Dad is at work, I am alone, and almost going crazy getting you all ready, we are almost late for church" snap shot on Easter Morning/Afternoon (because yes our church is at 1:30, and I will be your personal witness that yes, you CAN be late for 1:30 church). If we weren't so late, I would have been wise to snap just a few more shots. Sorry you look like a pirate Wyatt(a snazzy pirate that is) because while standing in the SHADE of the front porch, the sun was burning your eyes completely up! And sorry littlest boys that your ties were not snug against your collar. We were keeping the peace and preventing fake gags and serious drama because ties that are snug make you feel like you are being choked.
However, Kudos to you Wes, Walker & Whit for smiling so patiently. You look MARVELOUS! (AND thank you Katie for facilitating the EASTER Sunday get-up! You are amazing!)

Our Easter Sunday was enjoyed by all. How lucky we are to celebrate the Resurrection of our Savior.

Wyatt---"Is THAT the OCEAN????"

Walker---"No Wyatt, that is the sewage treatment plant!"

Uhhhhm, my vote is that we need a vacation.

Here's a Deep Thought

White Trash and Trophy Wife have the same initials, just switched.

....I am SURE I am the latter.

Another Conversation with Wyatt

"Mom, Mom, Mom--that guy has earrings."

"Shhhhh."

(In MORE of a whisper)"Mom, Mom, that guy has lots of earrings."

"Yes Wyatt, everyone is different, please be quiet."

(Later as we pass, and as Wyatt completely stares down the poor guy we are verbally abusing) "Mom, that guy has TATTOOS!.....He is a GANGSTA!"

GREAT!

I have yet ANOTHER story on my motherhood belt (that may be as large as a small planet) that my children will bring up during their teenage years when they feel like they are not being loved, treated fairly, etc, etc. Motherhood tonight is seriously making me ill---will the guilt trips that we create for ourselves (because we procreated in the first place) ever come to an end?

Friday....paid $80 on the last day of baseball sign-ups for Walker to play this spring. Walker is elated, I am excited for him. Received a chintzy "little" note informing me that he would have to try-out. Yes, tryouts are these 2 days. Blah, Blah, Blah. Little note, goes into the bottomless pit of my purse.

Wednesday....call at 10:30pm from baseball coach. Walker has been drafted out of a hat because he did not show up for tryouts, because his unfit mother (who needs to save thousands for her children's therapy, let alone have her tubes tied and retied so that no more Johnson children will be subject to her sub and I mean SUB-par parenting skills and disorganization,) forgot to pull the little chintzer out and write the *@#! dates on the calendar.

For the record, in my defense of course, the last 3 weeks we have passed Strep Throat around to everyone except Jeff, and Wyatt twice. Will that excuse hold up in the YOU are a horrible parent court of law?

I did however a few years summers ago forget about Walkers t-ball pictures. Yes, I still and probably will always remember that one. Walker's 1st practice is tomorrow, during Scouts, that I am in charge of. Maybe he will be happy to have missed the stress of try-outs, he is ONLY 9 and 3/4. And maybe, just maybe that is still young enough to forget that he is a guinea pig when it comes to being the oldest child. Oink, Oink. I will continue to save for you DUDE!
