20 for Today

Here are some highlights from this exciting and crazy week!

WALKER....
-The science project

-Busy with baseball every night of the week!

-"Ride Bikes to School Gang"

-Photo OP with his amazing 4th grade teacher on the LAST DAY OF SCHOOL!

-Haircut that was overdue by a MONTH just in time for his talk in Primary today! You look so much cleaner...I love it! Oh and great job on your talk about Baptism and the Holy Ghost. Makes me happy to hear you!

WHITNEY....
-Filling up camera memory cards like they are going out of style. I love this self portrait Whit!

-Finished up her amazing soccer season. She ripped it up this spring with almost 20 goals in her 7 games. (She has a bad blogger mom who has not posted successes.) She is fast, tenacious and a blast to watch!

-Performed Twinkle Twinkle and Edelweiss for her 1st grade class. IM-pressive!

-Posed for the last day of school photo.

-Said Goodbye to her fun teacher and 1st Grade.

WYATT....
-Ummm...no really good explanation, just 100% Wyatt.

-Play dates with friends. Hilarious boys.

-Is painfully learning to ride his bike! More crying than riding was accomplished, but his Dad is determined. (We have some awesome first date video!)

-Saved money and purchased his very own razor scooter. Wyatt=Elated (Unfortunately not pictured yet!)

-Surprised me with a teeny tiny but beautiful flower (about the size of a clover) packaged nicely inside a huge manila envelope. Struck me as incredibly funny. What a thoughtful boy...we may need a talk because I think it is from the neighbors yard. Oops.

WES....
-Seems to keep busy and happy at all of his siblings sporting events....

-Starting to love to color. This day was especially messy.

-Dislikes naps and quite time. We take them when we can get them.

-Monkey see---Monkey do

-Is the happy subject of Whitney's photography. Although, he has forced us to purchase child proof doorknob covers. He has learned to escape, and the majority of the time he is half naked. We are so trashy!

Last Day of School!

I am trying to brace myself for summer and FOUR kids home for 3 months. I think this has been the shortest school year on record.

Our Memorial Day

This Memorial Day Walker made a great but sad and reluctant decision to let his Salamander of 1 year free. He heard that our area is a natural habitat for them. He was relentless in looking and found it in a neighbors sprinkler box. It lived in our garage over the winter and survived on worms and crickets. We drove up Mink Creek and found it a marshy new home. We think it will be happy.

Walker found it at HUGE worm to eat before our final goodbyes!

The audience during the salamanders dinner.

Resting a few minutes later....Wes---soaked up to his knees (bum included) and happy as a clam, Whitney---being a girl of course, Wyatt---???..I suspect he is looking at a rock, bug, stick or weed, Walker---melancholy after saying farewell to his good friend.....

Whitney with the fattest worm on record--ewww

Wes with his gun shaped stick. Don't they find those anywhere?

Wyatt proud of his old man cane.

Walker with the longest worm....double eww.

Later in the day, excitement resumed with the installation of trampoline #2. The first one was left at our Washburn house when we moved.

Jeff had more help than he knew what to do with!

The first jump....(lasted about 30 seconds....Wes gave us plenty of heart palpitations jumping without the safety net. Please be assured that the net is now secured.)

Work complete=Happy man!

In Wyatt's defense graduation plagued him with a horrible case of stage fright (more like terror)---he cheered up and was pleasant after the program, especially when the refreshments surfaced...who wouldn't I might add. We are excited for him to be a big Kindergartner (sniff). He will do well. He is succeeding at sounding out ever word he sees. Down side, no more spelling out words we don't want him to understand. We have moved on to pig latin.

Enjoying his memory folder and graduation diploma with Grandma. We loved her company at this momentous occasion.

Wyatt's choice for the celebration lunch....Wingers....better known to our crew as Weiners.

Here's a recap of some of his preschool adventures! (holy picture overload)
---First Day of School with his amazing teachers and adorable friends.

---Trip to Police Dept---highlight for Wyatt was definitely "riding" the police motorcycle.

---Halloween as Zorro

---Thanksgiving Feast. "please call me RUNNING BEAR"

---Dinosaur Museum

---A week with "Beary Nice" as our guest.

---Birthday Boy!

---Petting Zoo

---Last Day of School. He has grown so much!

Wyatt we love you. You make us proud. You are the most hilarious kid we know and don't know what we would do without you. Congrats!

Preschool Graduation....Wyatt Style

We are starting to laugh NOW....during the cute little program (that Wyatt obviously wanted NO part in) we didn't know whether to hide under our chairs or behind the curtain with him. We wonder what High school graduation will hold... And Mom, thanks for coming to watch Wyatt graduate---we will feel better if you let us reimburse you for your gas.
