Quote of the Day...uh I mean Week because it is just that good!

"Dad! I look hideous! I look like somebody that doesn't speak English!"

All I want for Valentines.....

Is my two front teeth!

Whitney finally pulled the second of her front teeth tonight....a little drama occurred, but mostly because she feels like the space that is left is huge. The truth is... both gone is soooo much better than the Nanny McPhee dangler look. I am loving the huge space, not only for orthodontic benefits, but because it is so adorable. I love her toothless grin.

Here is the letter....
Dear Tooth Fairy,
Here is my teeth. One broke by my brothers. I lost the second one. I am so excited! I heard that you give more for two teeth at the same time. Happy Valentines Night.
(unsigned,) Whitney

The 1st front one was lost at school right before lunch on Thursday. The lost tooth waited patiently in a bowl in the kitchen (and yes one of the brothers broke it, we don't know how and we have not gotten a straight confession although we feel Walker has an alibi) until the second could be wiggled out. Whitney was actually coursed with the idea that Little Miss Fairy brings extra money for 2, so they could both be wiggled out in a timely manner (by Valentine's Day)--they were flapping in the wind! She did a great job meeting her deadline. We'll see what the Tooth Fairy brings tonight!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Today we enjoyed an unconventional Valentine's Day---we were entertained and loved the company of our kids.

It began with Krispy Kreme's in the car for breakfast. Deelish! Our house still reeked of oil based primer courtesy of our unfinished, but soon to be finished basement, so we evacuated for the morning.

Costco was our first stop where we browsed and sampled. Whitney also got to try on a $68,000 (yes that is correct, no typos here) 3 carat diamond ring---that probably won't sell in our town anytime soon. It was amazing! Find a rich one Whit, that is my advice OR try the CZ, no one will ever know:)!

Jeff surprised me (in the store at least--that is kind of his style which cracks me up!) with these beautiful flowers. I will enjoy them all week.

We ate at Craigo's buffet for lunch. A great date for all 6 of us.

And then we enjoyed Bolt at the dollar theater. Entertaining flick if you have not seen it yet! The rest of the evening was calm and lacked action. Just how we like it! The kids did miss the sugar cookie thing---we have plans for Feb 15th!

Just a note...

My 26 month old came with the alert twice today of his need to go psssssss (he doesn't say pee yet)in the potty and produced. Completely surprised and filled with joy am I. I just wish I felt like I had the time this month to start the big boy undiee thing that is always such a barrel full of laughs and fun monkeys. Maybe in March. I will keep you abreast on the subject.

Seriously, I have a perma-grin on my face thinking my diaper days after almost 10 years are coming to a close. Pocatello Landfill is singing my praises, and I am singing some of my own.

One liners for the day!

These and the tone of voice used made me think...should I discipline or just laugh!

Well, that's YOUR problem.

Mom, you are not the boss of the world (Said with Gusto), Heavenly Father is (A little less Gusto).

Elmo is THE weirdest little red fuzz ball!

I am TIRED of you calling me Birthday Boy!

Don't get snippy with me!
